Blyton Park is one of the UK's newest track day venues, opening for business in March 2011, with a new 1.5 mile tarmac circuit featuring a wide variety of corners, using a circuit design that ensures that there is ample tarmac run-off and as few solid barriers as possible.
Driving on the Blyton Park circuit will be exclusively for our event and those who have purchased CSF22 track slots. The track is hired for our exclusive use on Saturday 16th July. This will mean you will be on track with fellow ClioSport Club Members and Renault enthusiasts from our guest clubs in similar vehicles.
To enable as many people as possible to get on track the trackday will be split into half day, morning and afternoon Open Pit Lane sessions. This will also allow people to have some time to enjoy the other aspects of the day when they are not on track. If you do want to spend the full day on track then a full day is availble at a reduced price!
We offer a number of options to compliment your day which can be purchased in advance or during the day at the sign-on office.
Show off your pride and joy to fellow members of ClioSport and other clubs in the Renault community. Parking in the display area is available to all those attending on the day. Guest clubs will have their own dedicated club area.
Get great views of fellow members lapping the circuit from the spectator banking. Perfect for watching the action and taking photos with great visibility of the circuit.
We recommend bringing your own camping chairs if you'd like to take the weight off your feet while you watch!
The excellent Blyton Park Clubhouse Cafe is open all day for you to purchase a wide selection of hot & cold food, drinks and snacks.
Please Note: In a change to previous years events lunch vouchers are no longer included with your ticket. This change is reflected in significantly reduced ticket prices. This is to allow people more flexibility to bring your own lunch and an attempt to help reduce crowds & queues to assist with social distancing where possible.
Using full size racing seats and the latest force feedback steering wheels our driving simulators provide drivers with a virtual in car driving experience and the opportunity to compete against friends and members in a choice of environments whilst competing in the same race! Free to use as many times as you like.

The Blyton Park cafe will be open to all on Sunday morning for those wishing to purchase breakfast before packing up and heading home.
The venue is one mile from Blyton village on the B1205 (Kirton Road) and approaching from Blyton the entrance is a mile from the village on the left hand side. There are big signs on both sides of two heavy steel gates and a derelict wartime brick shed next to the entrance. Go through the gates and follow the track past the grasstrack on your left. Keep going past a derelict farm and park by the big grain store (green) on your right.
Please drive slowly and carefully and have your tickets ready for inspection at the gate.
To allow us to manage numbers and in the interest of the safety and wellbeing of our attendees, we have introduced a number of changes to ticketing for this years event.
ALL tickets must be purchased online in advance.
There will be NO CASH SALES ON THE DAY of the event, and no entry without a pre-purchased ticket.
Online ticket sales will be open up to the time the event starts, so you must book online before you travel.
Tracktime will not be for sale on the day, and must be booked in advance.
If tracktime has all sold out, but you are still coming to the event anyway, you may be able to be waitlisted for any possible no-shows on the day. Please use the contact form to enquire
Once people have arrived and “signed on” at the circuit office and received their identification wristbands, the track manager will give a quick but comprehensive briefing. It's here that everything will be explained, from sessions to safety and overtaking to tuition. It's at this point we ask for anyone who isn't quite sure as to how things work to speak up. We than ask that everyone gets ready and joins the rest of their session in the parking area. After the circuit staff have carried out the final safety checks on the circuit... away you go! Your first 3 laps will be in convoy behind a Safety Car to acquaint you with the circuit in use on that event. We usually have a 1-hour break for lunch around 12.30pm where the morning session will end and sign-on and preparation for the afternoon session will begin. No driver will be allowed on track until they have attended a safety breifing.
Helmet hire is provided by MOT Trackdays on the day at an approximate cost of £10. Please ask when signing on if you would like to hire one. Helmets may be limited and subject to availability, so in case of high demand, we would advise bringing your own where possible.
A general rule of thumb is that in the interest of safety your body, arms and legs are covered and you wear a suitable helmet. The circuit insists that drivers and passengers wear suitable and well fitting helmets at all times on the track. Occupants of cars that do not have full windscreens should wear full face helmets or suitable eye protection.
While you do require a full weekend ticket to stay on and enjoy the Saturday evening entertainment and food, camping is of course not mandatory on either day. You will be able to leave site later in the evening to return home or to a local hotel if you prefer.
The noise limits are 105 dba Static and 95 dba Driveby
The static test is measured at 3/4 throttle at 0.5 metres from the tailpipe. These limits are usually the same limit as imposed on most road based race / rally competition cars and should therefore not be hard to achieve. The circuit may not test every car as they feel experienced enough to selectively test the noisier cars.
Although trackday accidents are rare, if you decide to take your car on to a track, you must be aware that you are accepting the risk. By booking to take part you have already agreed to this. You will also be required to sign a further declaration at each event. This is usual on any trackday.
The owners of venue, MOT Trackdays (Mazda On Track), ClioSport Limited or any other person or company cannot be held responsible, even if an accident is not your fault. It is becoming increasingly unlikely that your road going policy is going to cover you for a trackday so make sure you check with your insurance company first. Make sure you mention that these events are non-competitive and no racing or timing is allowed. There are numerous providers of Trackday Insurance online, for an additional premium. We always recommend you take out a separate per event policy to be sure. It is recommended that you consider if you have adequate personal accident insurance in place before taking part.
Although MOT Trackdays is not a training organisation, and trackdays are certainly not about learning to be a racing driver, Instructors are available to give you informal guidance into track driving technique, and how it varies from road driving. That said your road driving can benefit a great deal from the skills discovered in your trackday experience.
The aim is ultimately to improve how safely and smoothly you drive your car around a track and that will inevitably help with awareness and control on the road.
Ultimately it's only going to be you with feet on the pedals, and any accidents at trackdays (thankfully rare) are always the fault of the driver and the driver alone. Instructors cannot stop you from having an accident but they can make you think twice about driving beyond your limits. We HIGHLY recommend all beginners make use of them. Advice can be booked when you sign into any event.
Children under the age of 16 years old will be admitted with a reduced price childs ticket with any accompanying adult. Proof of age may be requested on the gate. Children must remain accompanied by an adult at all times.
Dogs are not permitted to enter any part of the site and showground. Please do not bring them along or you will be asked to leave with no refund of any tickets purchased. This is for the safety of all attendees and the dogs themselves due to the nature of the circuit activities.
Yes, passengers over the age of 16 are welcome. If under 18 their guardian will be required to sign a Declaration and Indemnity. A general rule is that only the front seats are allowed to be occupied. However each passenger must have the exclusive use of a seat belt. An additional charge of £10 per passenger is charged for each passenger, and can be purchased with your tickets in advance, or at the ClioSport Club Merchandise Marquee in the main showground.
Signed on passengers and drivers may passenger in other cars at no extra charge. We ask that all passengers wait until drivers are signed on before signing on themselves.
Please be aware that there is a clearly defined refund policy for all ticket and track time purchases, as agreed in the booking terms and conditions.
Due to the organisers commitments with event suppliers, we are required deduct the following administration charges from all refunds as the event approaches.
16th March 2022 - 15th April 2022: 25% deducted
16th April 2022 - 15th May 2022: 50% deducted
